In line with the tradition of celebrating excellence in character, Hillrange School recognised some well behaved boys with the prestigious annual Hillrange Star Award. The brief ceremony which took place at the General Assembly on Monday, 14th December, 2020, was witnessed by all members of the school community. The principal, *Mr. Sebastian Eluehike*, in his address to the students, noted that the award was a repesentation of the mission of Hillrange School; which is to build boys into men with Christian principles. He noted that a society without men of character is bound to fail, and the school is determined to raise men who are well formed and prepared for the outside world. He saluted the resilience of the awardees and encouraged other boys to emulate their ways. Mr Eluehike hoped for a day when every student of Hillrange will be given the award! The awards were given to students in Js2, Js3 and SS1 for good conduct in the previous 2019/2020 academic session which ended recently.Highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of awards/badges to the awardees by the Director of Formation, Mr. *Chidi Okoro* and Group Photographs of the celebrants which were taken right after the event. The Hillrange Star Award is given every year to boys who were not “booked” more than three times in an entire academic session. It motivates students to see good behavior as something to be celebrated. “Booking” is a system of discipline which is one effective way of correcting students who break school rules. Enjoy photos!
